Well, my uncle and cousin both have one. They are certainly not douchebags. #breakingthestereotype

That’s good.. I was just stating that generally the drivers of these cars are often speeding or doing other sorts of violations of the rules.. And they are usually second hand..

That’s not always true. I used to own a BMW and I don’t think I was at all a douchebag (I even used turn signals).

I know what you mean. When that second hand CLS is just a bit too much...

There are two types of BMW drivers: the douches and the enthusiasts..

I fall under the latter category since I view cars as art rather than appliances.

Hot. Are those rims actually stock though?

I’m pretty sure that they are, it seems like a pretty good deal as long as the timing belt service has already been done. Judging by the price, it probably hasn’t been done though.

And you can buy one with a manual transmission...

What does the timing belt service entail? Is it a 1k+ service?

From something like $800-$1,000 if you bring it to a shop. Higher end of the price bracket for the dealership. Around $300 just for parts if you plan on doing it yourself. You’d need special tools though, which I don’t have.

That's not too bad. Our odyssey is coming up on its 75k timing belt change. It's about 1k all said and done.

That looks like mine...*checks out the window*. Only real issue is it’s tough for peeps to get in/out of the back seat...plenty of headroom and legroom once in the car though.

The CC is a very popular platform for customization where I live in China. I’ve lost count of how many matte green/purple/blue/red wrapped CCs I have seen. Most are awful, some are ok, but none are as good looking as the original.

I have to remember to start taking pictures of these things...

Well I was 18 when my parents gave it to me so I didn’t care about status or anything, though I still don’t seeing as I drive a VW. I remember I used to wash it constantly and had a set of shiny rims from an M car. I honestly wish I still had the 540i.
